1999! Privacy Policy

1999! is a Chrome extension that changes how a web page looks when you click its icon. This policy explains what it does and does not do with your data.

What we collect

Nothing. 1999! does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information or browsing data. It does not read page content, form fields, passwords or keystrokes, and it does not record which sites you visit.

How it works

When you click the 1999! toolbar icon, the extension adds decorative styling and graphics to the current tab, and removes them when you click again. This happens entirely on your device. The extension makes no network requests, loads no remote code, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Permissions

• activeTab: lets the extension act on the single tab whose icon you click, only at the moment you click.
• scripting: lets the extension apply its bundled styling and graphics to that tab.

Children

Because no data is collected, 1999! does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
